An Exercise in Bookbinding

Although this is not directly connected to much of the rest of the work that appears on this site, I am including here some images of an accordion book that I made some time for another project that has formed part of my degree.  I wanted to experiment with presenting a series of images in book form.  The accordion format seemed the most appropriate to portray a linear narrative:  a series of photographs taken from a moving train to illustrate a journey from Stocksfield to Newcastle along the valley of the River Tyne.  One side shows the series of images that I made, the reverse is hand-drawn map of the route of the train line.  I am interested in finding other means of presenting some of the work that forms the Stocksfield Rephotographed project and am looking at possible formats for a physical book, and these pictures offer just one example of what might be possible.
